The impact coaching and conflict management (“impact”), as the provider and the responsible entity  of the website www.impact-vc.com, takes the obligation of data protection very seriously and designs its website, in such a way that personal data is only to the extent necessary, collected, processed and used. Under no circumstances shall personal data be leased or sold to third parties for advertising purposes. No personal data shall be used for advertising or marketing purposes without the express consent of the visitor.
On the part of impact, access to personal data is only granted to individuals, who require this data, in order to carry out their duties on behalf of impact, in its capacity as the controller, who are informed about the applicable statutory provisions on data protection and who have moreover committed themselves to comply with the applicable statutory provisions (Art. 5 of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR)). The collection, processing, use and transmission of the collected personal data is effected pursuant to Art. 6. (1) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), only to the extent necessary for the execution of a contractual relationship between impact as the controller and the visitor as the data subject.

Amendments to the purpose of the processing and data usage

On account of the fact that due to technical progress and organisational changes, the deployed processing methods can change/further develop, impact reserves the right to further develop this data protection statement pursuant to the new technical framework conditions. impact therefore requests you to check on the data protection statement of impact, from time to time. Insofar as you do not agree with the further developments occurring over time, you may, in writing, pursuant to Article 17 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR), demand for the deletion of data, which is not stored on the basis of other statutory provisions, such as commercial or fiscal retention requirements.

Anonymous data collection
You can in principle always visit the impact website without disclosing who you are. impact only gets to know the name of your internet service provider, the website from which you have accessed impact’s website and the webpages you visit on impact’s website. This information is analysed for statistical purposes. You remain anonymous as an individual user.

Collection and processing of personal data
Personal data is only collected, insofar as you voluntarily disclose it to impact, for example, for the purposes of the newsletter registration. impact thereby complies with the provisions pursuant to Art. 5 and 6 of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). Within the framework of impact’s personalised services, your registration data shall only be processed subject to your granted consent for the purposes of the shipment of newsletters or for the needs-based configuration of the offered electronic services. The processing and use of your personal data is affected pursuant to the provisions of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR).  

Export and processing of data in States outside of the European Economic Area
Insofar as an export of your personal data should take place to States outside of the European Economic Area (hereinafter EEA), impact shall ensure that the data importer shall only process this data on the basis of a level of data protection, which is equivalent to the level of data protection, which impact in its capacity as the controller, is in turn obliged to comply with, pursuant to the relevant provisions of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR).
In addition, as long as you own a Twitter account or an LinkedIn account, personal data may be exported to the USA. For further explanations and possibilities to prevent this data export, please read the section  “Use of Twitter” or “Use of LinkedIn” of this data protection statement.
Insofar as you are logged-on to Google or own a YouTube account, personal data may be exported to the USA. For further explanations and possibilities to prevent this data export, please refer to the section “Use of YouTube Plugins”.
A transmission of personal data to Google within the framework of the use of analytical programs does in contrast not take place, because your IP address is only transmitted anonymously. Please read hereto the section “Use of analytical programs” of this data protection statement.
The service providers commissioned by impact have their registered offices as well as operate their IT infrastructure, exclusively within the EEA. This also applies to any use of cloud-based services. The contracts concluded with the service providers comply with the data protection and data security provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU-GDPR). impact remains the controller of the data processing, irrespective of the involvement of external service providers.

Use and disclosure of personal data
The personal data collected within the framework of impact’s website shall only be used without your granted consent for the purpose of the processing of the contract and the processing of your inquiries. In all other cases, your data shall only be used for advertising and market research purposes by impact, insofar as you have previously granted your consent. Moreover, your data shall not be passed on to any third parties. You of course reserve the right to revoke your respective granted consent at any given time with effect for the future.

As far as this is not obvious, impact points out that this is an external link. impact has no influence whatsoever on the content and design of these websites of other providers. Use of cookies

Use of analytical programs
impact performs or respectively commissions the performance of analytics on the behavior of its customers within the framework of the use of its service. Anonymised or pseudonymised usage profiles are thereby created for this purpose. The creation of user profiles is effected for the sole purpose of constantly improving the service.
impact also uses Google Analytics within the framework of the web analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”), whereby impact uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp ()”. As a result, the IP addresses are processed only truncated to exclude a direct personal inference. Objection against the data collection and storage that takes place within this framework, can be raised at any given time with effect for the future.

impact uses functions of the service Twitter on its website. These features are provided by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and shared with other users. This data is also thereby transmitted to Twitter. The cookies enable behavioral advertising and analytics by Twitter. impact points out that impact as the provider of the webpages is not aware of the content of the transmitted data as well as its use by Twitter. Use of LinkedIn
impact uses functions of the services LinkedIn on its website. These features are provided by LinkedIn Inc., 599 N Mathilda Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94085, USA. By using LinkedIn and the “Like” function, the websites you visit are linked to your LinkedIn account and shared with other users. The data is also thereby transmitted to LinkedIn. The cookies are used by tracking campaign analytics and behavioral advertising by LinkedIn and not used to personally identify you. impact uses for the incorporation of videos, among others, the provider YouTube. YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC, with the principal place of business at 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. YouTube is represented by Google Inc., with registered offices at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
impact uses on its website plugins of the provider YouTube. When you visit a webpage of impact’s website, which has a YouTube plug-in, a connection to the server of YouTube is established. Information about the webpage you have visited is then transmitted over this connection to the YouTube server. Insofar as you are logged-on as a member of YouTube, YouTube assigns this information to your personal user account. In the case of the use of the plugin, such as by clicking on the start button of a video, this information is likewise assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging-off from your YouTube user account as well as from other user accounts of the companies YouTube LLC and Google Inc. and deleting the corresponding cookies from the companies, before using impact’s website.

As data subject, you are entitled to file a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority in the event of a breach of data protection law.
